It was in 1982 that World Insurance opened the door of its first office in Richmond. That office, on No. 5 Road, is still a vibrant part of the community, forming the cornerstone of a business that now includes its Richmond H/O (on River Road) and a branch in Coquitlam, which opened in 1992. Coquitlam was chosen as a location because at the time, it was the fastest growing community in the Lower Mainland and still continues to grow.
As a measure of World Insurance’s success during the past 27 years of hard work, the company continues to write sizable volumes in general insurance premiums. We represent some of major insurers in Canada - Chubb, Aviva, Axa, Wawanesa, Intact, Dominion and Sovereign General.

We feel with this individual attention to our clients, we have gained the continued, long time loyalty of our customer base, something World Insurance has never taken for granted. World Insurance is an appointed agent of the Insurance Corporation of BC (ICBC) authorizing us to sell Autoplan automobile insurance.

Charities that World Insurance patronizes include the Rotary Club of Vancouver Chinatown, Steveston Lions Club, the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation and the Douglas College Foundation.
